L.L.BEAN DUCK BOOTS

"I worked with Kim Kennedy on a primetime television segment featuring our iconic L.L.Bean Boots.

The segment came out terrific and folks around here were thrilled, especially with how she was able to capture the essence of our brand and culture (trust me, not an easy thing to do), not to mention the care and craftsmanship that goes into every pair of boots we make.

The success of the segment was the result of Kim's remarkable attention to detail, her ability to bring out the best quotes in the folks she was interviewing through her thoughtful approach and questions, and her keen, cinematic eye. She was also very professional and a lot of fun to work with – she's a real hoot!

As a senior public affairs professional at L.L.Bean, day in and day out, my job is to work directly with all forms of the media and I can say that Kimberly was one of my favorites!”

"I first got to know Kim when she was Producer for CBS News.

CBS News was interviewing Affectiva for a segment on emotionally intelligent technology. Kim made time to research the company and get to know what we do.

The segment portrayed the company accurately, representing the current market applications as well as the future of what a world with emotion-enabled technology looks like.

She was able to communicate what we do in very simple and accessible ways, and quickly grasped our culture and core values as a company, especially our focus on doing good with this technology.

She was also able to work with my team and I to get the footage in a very efficient way. I've come to realize that the partnership between startups and journalism/news is critical, because as a small company we do not have the reach that a media outlet such as CBS has nor the vehicle to tell our story.

Kim told our story, and she did it in an accurate yet fun and entertaining way. Affectiva and I are very grateful for that. I highly recommend Kim for video stories. Having this video of our company helped us tell our story in the marketplace."

KNIGHTSBRIDGE

"As a very small NGO, we had circled the world on our own for years, bringing humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable. We’re talking Rwanda during the genocide, Afghanistan, before anyone had heard of that war-torn country, Nicaragua, Chechnya, Cuba, Cambodia, Albania, Haiti and the Philippines.

We didn’t think too much about publicity.  We were just three old dudes who saw people in need and just decided to do something about it.

And when Kim Kennedy found us and brought our story to the public and everything changed for the better.

You see she “got it” – and made good use of our warped sense of humor and simultaneously brought attention to the needs, the logistics, the hurdles of our lifesaving missions.

We call ourselves Knights and yes we have done some great things around the world but thanks to Kim, especially because of her outstanding work, and the videos that we were able to show everywhere and raise money and awareness, Kim Kennedy helped us save thousands and thousands of lives.

We are most grateful to Kim Kennedy."

"Kim Kennedy quickly grasped the science of our complex game changing technology.

She told a compelling story about vertical farming and how its transforming farming and produce distribution.

She knew precisely what points to make clear for an audience to digest; for both consumers and investors. And we had fun on the shoot day.

Kim is a talented visual storyteller who has rare combination of understanding both business and technology. We were thrilled with the result."
